Should I size the battery for the whole house?

Usually, backup sizing starts with essential loads such as lights, fans, networking equipment, refrigeration and selected appliances. Enter only the loads that must run during a power outage, then discuss expansion with the installer.

Why does battery voltage matter?

At the same power, a lower-voltage battery bank requires more current. The battery voltage, continuous current, surge capability, BMS and inverter communication must all be compatible.

Can I use the module count as an order quantity?

No. The module count is an estimate based on the entered module capacity. Confirm usable energy, series/parallel limits, charge and discharge current, communications, enclosure requirements and the manufacturer’s approved configuration before ordering.
