Solar Load Calculator for Pakistan

Calculate home, shop or office load in watts, daily kWh and electricity units. Get an indicative inverter class and solar PV size using 230V/50Hz or 400V/230V planning references.

Enter your system information

Use practical site values for a useful first estimate. All calculations run in your browser; no form data is sent from this tool.

01

System setup

Choose the electrical supply and planning assumptions for your estimate.

Select the supply shown on your site’s electrical connection.

%

Allowance above connected load for practical planning.

hours

A planning assumption; output changes with season, shade and orientation.

%

Covers wiring, heat, dust, conversion and other losses.

02

Add your appliances

Use the appliance nameplate wattage where possible. Set quantity to zero for loads you do not use.

Tip: Include the appliances you expect to run at the same time when planning inverter capacity. Starting loads from pumps, refrigerators and air conditioners need separate technical review.

Solar load calculator questions

What is one electricity unit in Pakistan?

For planning purposes, one electricity unit is one kilowatt-hour (kWh). The calculator shows daily energy in both kWh and units so it matches the language used on electricity bills.

Should I enter the appliance’s rated wattage?

Use the nameplate or manufacturer rating whenever available. Motors, pumps, refrigerators and air conditioners can have starting or cycling behaviour that is not captured by a simple running-watt estimate.

Is the result a final system design?

No. It is an indicative planning result. Final inverter, panel, protection, cable and phase selection requires a site survey, electrical checks and confirmation of the selected equipment’s datasheet limits.
